Who we are?
Innovation is all about bringing ideas together from completely different environments. And it is no different for the Innovation we try to create with the Study Portal. It builds on years of experience in the area of Clinical Research, Data Management Software and the handling of information in clinical studies. This is combined with an extensive knowledge from a completely different settings: Community Management. In other words, how to use the latest in web technology to bring people together and stimulate creative cooperation between people.
The Clinical Trial knowledge is taken care of by Sjouke Huisman, managing director at Thorin BV. As Lead Developer, Sjouke is responsible for the Development and QA process of the Portal Software.
The Community Management angle is handled by Jurjan Huisman. Jurjan is responsible for the integration of Community Management tools in the Portal, as well as for maintaining high levels of Usability.
How we work?
Not only do we develop Innovative software, we also try to develop it an Innovative way. The internet makes it possible for people to work together despite any physical distance. Websites like www.crowdspring.com make it possible to generate a large number of webdesigns and pick the best of each. In a contest to generate our current design for the Study Portal we have reviewed over a 100 different designs, with each design bringing us new ideas.
And similar for the actual development of the software, we combine internal resources with external outsourcing.
